What you need to know:
• Kenorland and Auranova Resources announced assay results from the 2026 spring Phase 3 diamond drill program at the South Uchi Project.
• The program consisted of six diamond drill holes totalling 3,187m and successfully extended the Papaonga gold target to the east.
• The program has also identified a large new mineralized target.
• Given the size of the target, which remains open along strike and depth, follow-up geophysical programs are being planned for future drill targeting.
This morning, Kenorland Minerals Ltd. (KLD:TSXV, KLDCF:OTCQX), together with Auranova Resources Inc., announced assay results from the Phase 3 2026 diamond drill program at the South Uchi Project in Ontario’s Red Lake District (for a refresher on the project, see page 3 below). The program comprised six holes totalling 3,187m, designed as broad step-outs at roughly 500m spacing to the east and west of holes 25PADD031 and 25PADD034, which had previously defined a ~200m wide mineralized corridor. The drilling successfully extended the Papaonga target to the east, and more importantly, identified a large new mineralized target named North Papa. Today’s drill results extended the North Papa mineralization to 1km of strike length, which extended the Papaonga target footprint to ~7km of strike east-west. We are maintaining our BUY rating and target price of $4.00/share on Kenorland Minerals.
The 2026 spring drill program represents the third phase of drilling at Papaonga, designed to follow up on strike extensions of the northern mineralized structural corridor identified in late 2025. The program included broad step-outs, at ~500m spacing towards the east and west from past drilling.
At North Papa, the gold sits in a quartz-feldspar porphyry with intense silica-sericite-albite alteration and up to 15% accessory sulphides (mostly pyrite), hosted by a major regional east-west shear zone. The discovery hole, 26PADD046, was drilled across this structure to measure its true breadth and intersected 0.28 g/t Au over 122.8m within a 220.2m core interval. KLD also noted that the mineralized zones are expected to reach bedrock surface beneath only 10 to 20m of till.
