Castings plc (CGS LN) - FY26 results: improving trends - Corporate
FY26 was a year of recovering profitability for Castings, with margins and earnings rebounding sharply despite heavy-truck demand remaining subdued. Revenue was broadly flat, down 2.1% to £173.2m, but the absence of the prior-year electricity penalty, a now profitable Scunthorpe operation and tighter cost control lifted PBT 83% to £10.3m (FY25: £5.6m).
