Diversified Energy Company PLC (LSE:DEC, NYSE:DEC, FRA:DG20) is acquiring a $1.175 billion portfolio of Oklahoma oil and gas assets from Camino Natural Resources in partnership with Carlyle, without issuing new equity. The assets add around 51,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day of production, with estimated next-12-month EBITDA of $397 million.
88 Energy Ltd (AIM:88E, ASX:88E, OTCQB:EEENF, FRA:POQ) has secured an Arctic drilling rig for its Augusta-1 well on Alaska's North Slope, targeting 64 million barrels of gross unrisked oil resources with a 48% chance of success. Bluefield Solar Income Fund Ltd (LSE:BSIF, FRA:5B3) has closed a £120 million debt facility to fund construction of four solar projects in North East England with a combined capacity of 249 megawatts. All four projects have government contracts for difference in place, with grid connections targeted between 2027 and 2028.
IP Group PLC (LSE:IPO) has appointed former 3i Group chief executive Michael Queen as chair designate, with Queen set to take over following the AGM on 18 June. Sir Douglas Flint steps down after nearly eight years in the role.
